Siemens 5SY6 Supplementary Protectors are single and multi-pole thermal / magnetic overcurrent protection devices. These miniature circuit breakers are used to protect plants in buildings and infrastructures for industrial applications and can be used as main control switches for disconnecting or isolating plants. Integrated movable terminal covers located at the cable entries ensure the terminals are fully insulated when the screws are tightened. Manual quick-assembly systems guarantee convenient, safe, time-saving assembly without requiring any tools. Siemens offers several additional components to the 5SY devices for increased flexibility.
