Contactors are a significant part of safety-related applications. They are generally the actuators that perform the switching operation leading to the safe disconnection of the corresponding application or system. Sizes S0 to S3: the basic units contain two integrated auxiliary contacts (1 NO + 1 NC). Sizes S00 and S0: screw or spring-loaded terminals, spring-loaded terminals with convenient plug-in design for device connectors. SIEMENS 3RT2027-1AC20 contactors fulfill the requirements for environment category A. 3RT2 contactors are available as standard versions with AC or DC operating mechanisms or as versions with a wide-range solid-state operating mechanism and a universal actuating voltage (AC or DC operation possible). Coil replacement is possible for sizes S0 to S3. All 3RT2 contactors and 3RH2 contactor relays can be retrofitted with RC elements or varistors for damping opening surges in the coil.
